Developmental Screening
Developmental Screenings have come to a close for the 2023 – 2024 school year. Screenings will resume at the beginning of the 2024-2025 school year. As a reminder, if your child is turning five by September 1st, please contact your child’s elementary school to register for Kindergarten.
In order to participate in the developmental screening process you must be a resident of CUSD 200. When screenings resume, parents can contact Carrie Sangorska at 630-682-2109 to schedule an appointment to bring in your child’s original birth certificate and originals of proof of residency documentation for copying.
Kindergarten Information
If your child will be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2024, they will be Kindergarten age for the 2024-2025 School Year.

If you are concerned about your child’s development and request a developmental screening, you should do so by reaching out to Jefferson ECC to complete registration and show proof of residency. Once received, a link to the ASQ-3 and ASQ-SE will be given to you and the results will be reviewed by the Early Childhood (EC) Evaluation Team. If additional information is needed, the EC team will share this information with you and the Special Education Team at your local elementary home school. Your local elementary home school team will discuss next steps with you.
